I was lucky enough to get the chance to spend a week on the east coast of Florida, Hutchinson Island, in the middle of July. Between the sweating and sunburns, I got some great pics of a beautiful area.

A jet ski slows down to pass underneath the Jensen Beach Causeway Bridge.

Beautiful, pastel riverfront properties on NE Pier Way, Jensen Beach.

The famous banyan tree canopy on St Lucie Blvd, Stuart, FL.

The Jensen-Stuart Welcome Arch, built in 1926, is located on Old Dixie Highway, Stuart, FL.

The World Famous Fredgie’s Hot Dog Stand in Jensen Beach! With the unconventional addition of PB and mustard, I personally guarantee that it’s the greatest-tasting chili dog you’ll ever eat.

A U.S. Coast Guard watchtower at the southernmost point of Hutchinson Island, FL.

Rocking chairs on the porch of the Hutchinson Island House of Refuge, a temporary home for shipwrecked sailors on the Treasure Coast.

The rocks are sharp, but that’s no problem for some sure-footed mountain goats like us!

Had to get a second angle of that beautiful Coast Guard tower.

Beautiful storefronts in downtown Jensen Beach, FL.

Waves crashing against the rocky reef at Bathtub Beach, Hutchinson Island, FL.

A storm rolls in over Crocodile Rock at Bathtub Beach.
